September 1, 2013 by Mo 1 Comment

July 7, 2013 by Mo Leave a Comment

Now that I milled all the lumber it was time to glue up the computer table top. I normally use biscuits to help with alignment of the boards. The long grain glue up is plenty strong enough for this size table top. I’m looking to add a Festool domino in the future for tasks like […]

June 28, 2013 by Mo 1 Comment

I have always had a small computer desk that I manage to fit my My Mac, Work Laptop, Neat scanner and 11 x17 Photo Scanner. This did not leave me much room for any paperwork or research books. I have looked at a couple of computer desk and some simple plans but could find anything […]

Radial Arm Saw

June 23, 2013 by Mo Leave a Comment

I was over at my local lumber yard to see if they didn’t have some Kiln Dried studs that I can use for the table I want to make. Some times they only have 16 feet long and they need to be cut in half to fit into the truck. They have a few machines depending […]

Tamboti Bowl

May 27, 2013 by Mo Leave a Comment

I tried to turn a segmented Tamboti Bowl, but unfortunately my gleu joint failed and the whole thing come of the lath. I really didn’t see this coming. I was very careful with the speed and made sure my turning tools was sharp. Bell Forest Products description Tamboti: Tamboti is a heavy, strong, dense exotic […]

San Diego Train Station

May 26, 2013 by Mo Leave a Comment

This San Diego Train Station had a lot character. The Santa Fe Depot was its originally designated name and it opened back on 3-15-1915. Back in the day the facility handled Santa Fe traffic but also that of the San Diego and Arizona Railway. I use the  Amtrak train and the station seems very busy.

2013 BMW R1200 GS Adventure

May 25, 2013 by Mo Leave a Comment
