I don’t have many planes in my possession , mainly the new ones you bay today is so crappy and the ones that is good cost you a arm and a leg. I started looking on Ebay and found some good deals. Granted you need to put some work into them to get them in to shape. I got this Lot of Planes for 20 including shipping
LOT OF FIVE WOOD PLANES-STANLEY (3), WTG (1) UNKNOWN BRAND (1)
You are bidding on a total of five wood planes three Stanley brand & one WTG (“Work-Tested-Guaranteed”) brand, and one unknown brand. They are the following sizes from left to right on the picture:
1. Stanley – 6 ½” long x 2” wide.
2. WTG – 6 7/8” long x 2” wide.
3. Stanley No. 110 – 7” long x 2” wide.
4. Stanley Handyman – 5 ½” long x 1 5/8” wide.
5. Unknown – 3 ½” long x 1 ½” wide.
All are functional. No.1 has a few broken parts, and all could use a good cleaning.
The bottom of planes 2, 4, & 5, are smooth and only need to be cleaned. 1 & 3 have some buildup on them but there are no chips or nicks. There is some rust on all of them with No. 5 the cleanest.
