Woodworking 1940s

December 23, 2012 by Mo Leave a Comment

I was looking around on youtube for some woodworking educational videos and stumbled upon this woodworking 1940s video. It is very interesting to see how stuff was done back in the day. I specially like the narration of this video, it something that is not found in todays narrations any more. I also notice there was some power tools back then, so even thou is sound like it was a lifetime ago it really wasn’t. One day I was in a”The taste of Texas” a restaurant in Houston Taxes. They had some old tools on display and varies other items from back in the day. there is a couple of hand saws on display and they look so awesome. I could not imagine myself that tools like that was use and lumber was cut by hand,  I quests its a paradigm change since electrisity flow freely to day and the most hobbyist has some form of electrical tools in their shops.
